With the August show so small, I wasn't sure what this months show was going to be like. I talked to a lot of rodders during the month and past out flyers like mad. Starting a new series in the middle of the year makes it tough to get started. We set everything up, and one by one the rods came in. We ended up with 29 rods registered which made the show a big success. We had a number of cars come up from Los Banos, they took flyers back with them to share with other members of their club. We also had someone from a local car club that drove by the show in August and returned tonight to find out what it was all about since he didn't know anything about it. He also took flyers for his club and said he would return next month as well. So it looks like we are growing, we may need to get the street permit for the October show since we sort of packed the lot just a bit this month. We did get a street permit in August but skipped doing so for September. The October show will be a special show, everyone's encouraged to dress in a costume for our Halloween edition.
